The Notre Dame Club of Southeastern Virginia serves the University, our members and our community from historic Williamsburg to the ocean in Virginia Beach. Our community includes hundreds of alumni, students, parent s and many friends of Notre Dame. NDSEVA members are diverse but united in a common love of Notre Dame, dedicated to a mission to provide scholarship opportunities for local students and support our community. In 2007, NDSEVA was named the University's Club of the Year for its size--a reflection of the terrific commitment of this Club to representing the University in our area.
Our NDSEVA programs include an emphasis on the Six C's of the Notre Dame Alumni Association:
- Continuing Education—such as the Fr. Hesburgh Lecture and Senior Alumni meetings
- Community Service—such asthe Shamrock Marathon in the spring to frequent Soup Kitchen projects
- Current Students—such as our Scholarship, and Student Sendoff and pre-finals parties.
- Camaraderie—such as Game Watches, Happy Hours, and other gatherings to share the ND Spirit
- Catholic/Christian Spirituality—such as Summer Service Learning Project and the Communion Mass, and promotion of programs including pray.nd.edu
- Communications— Our News and Photos pages keep you aware of Club events., while the Calendar is a great way to join us in our events. Contact me to be added to our e-mailing list here
These programs are managed by volunteer board and committee members. Many of these board members have served the Club in other positions, giving us continuity while at the same time welcoming new faces. Please contact any board member about any issue.
